After about four months of preparation, 2022 ChineseX, the first Chinese Language Challenge in New Zealand was successfully held in Massey University Auckland Campus on the evening of September 29! This event is organised by Pinnacle Education Trust and New Zealand Chinese Language Week, and hosted by Pinnacle Global Academy. We also received the warmly support from Massey University, Massey University, Higher Education Press and New Zealand Chinese Postgraduate Society.
ChineseX Language Challenge is the first Chinese language competition for school teams to participate in New Zealand. Since the registration of the competition, we received many positive responds from primary and secondary school principals, Chinese teachers, students and parents in Auckland.
There were 10 schools participating in this competition:
Westlake Girls' High School,
Takapuna Normal Intermediate School,
Point of View School,
Campbells Bay School,
Forrest HIll School,
Pinnacle Global Academy.
Due to the enthusiasm of everyone, the number of participating teams increased from the original 21 to 40, and the total number of participants was about 400, including students, teachers, parents and staffs. The challenge was very exciting. And a special live broadcast was set up for viewers.
