We are proud to celebrate the exceptional achievements of our students in two prestigious STEAM Ahead competitions: the International Junior Mathematics Olympiad (IJMO) and the VANDA International Junior Science Olympiad (VANDA IJSO). As one of the most challenging international math competitions, IJMO is a platform for the world’s top young mathematicians. Only the best students from national competitions are invited, making it a true test of problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excelling in Vanda IJSO
The Vanda International Junior Science Olympiad, part of the STEAM Ahead program, focuses on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills in science. This year’s global finals were more challenging than ever, with fewer than 500 of the world’s best students competing.
Despite the intense competition, our students shone brightly:
Daniel Fu won the Gold Medal and was ranked 1st globally in the G6 category!
Another student earned a Silver Medal, demonstrating their exceptional scientific aptitude.
Daniel’s journey from a bronze medal last year to a gold medal and grade-first ranking this year is a testament to his perseverance, his family’s support, and the tailored guidance provided by his teachers.

For example, Daniel’s success in Vanda IJSO was significantly influenced by his enrollment in PGA teacher Chao's Science Course. This course not only reinforced his understanding of complex concepts but also instilled confidence and clarity in approaching difficult physics problems, which played a critical role in his performance at the finals.
