This competition stimulates a lot of debate and conversation around what chemistry is all about, so it’s a great opportunity for students to develop and showcase some of the skills they’ll need at university and beyond.
High level of difficulty.
The questions require A-level or equivalent chemistry knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to new situations and problems in a creative way.
The key is not to give up and remember that even a seemingly low mark can earn an award.
