STEAM Ahead Fees

Each student competing must pay: the Contest Fees + STEAM Ahead event package fee.

Each guest going to the Award Ceremony must pay: STEAM Ahead event package fee.

(All parts of fees are not refundable.)

Please note: Strictly NOT accepting STEAM Ahead registrations after the deadline.

Registration deadline: 31 October 2025.

Travel insurance is NOT included in the package. It is compulsory for each guest to purchase their own insurance for STEAM Ahead.

PGA and PEC are not responsible for, nor will it be held liable for, any injury, damage or loss suffered on account of any conditions, actions or omissions that are beyond its reasonable control during the whole trip of STEAM AHEAD.

You must be fully aware of and accept the potential risks of going to the host country by reading the New Zealand Government's Official advice for overseas travel: https://www.safetravel.govt.nz/destinations/china , and taking full responsibility for any additional costs that may occur.

By submitting the Registration Form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all the terms and conditions outlined in this form PGA TRAVEL AND TRIP RISK ACKNOWLEDGEMENT/LIABILITY WAIVER FORM.

If a parent or legal guardian is unable to accompany the participant to STEAM Ahead:

1. Additional Fee:

An additional fee of NZD 2,980 plus NZD 500 per day (with no maximum limit on the number of days or total cost) will apply for students under the age of 18 who attend STEAM Ahead without a parent or guardian.

Both the guardian and the student must carefully review and acknowledge the potential risks of travelling to the host country by referring to the Official Advice for New Zealanders: https://www.safetravel.govt.nz/destinations/china , and must accept full responsibility for any additional costs that may arise.

2. Child Travel Consent Form:

If the parent or guardian designates another adult to take care of the student, the Child Travel Consent Form must be completed and submitted in addition to the payment of the extra fee mentioned above.
