Academic writing is a clear and concise, coherent structured and evidenced writing technique with formal tone and style. Each subject discipline will have certain writing conventions, vocabulary and types of discourse.

Academic writing skill is helpful for enhancing children’s logical order, the ability of creating coherent overall structure and plan, and the ability of using clear and concise language. Academic writing can also facilitate students’ ability in other writing types, including reports, explanations, procedures, and persuasive writing.
