What is ASOC？
The Australian Science Olympiads-Chemistry (ASOC) is a national program for top performing secondary science students that culminate in the International Science Olympiads.
The program is a rewarding opportunity for high school students to extend themselves way beyond school science through challenging exams, stimulating residential programs and international competitions.

Registration deadline: Friday 3 October 2025. The registration is considered successful upon receipt of the registration fee.
Competition Format
Format and Questions:
Two sets of problems: Section A and Section B
● Section A: 15 multiple choice questions (worth 30
marks in total)
● Section B: 3 main problems, with several sub
questions for each. (worth 90 marks in total)
● Total 120 marks
Participants eligibility:
Students in Years 11-13.
Fees for the ASOC is $220 per student.
