What is AMC8

Duration: 40 mins​

Paper format:
Questions: 25 multiple choices
Total Score: 25

1 score/question, no penalty for wrong answers


Calculator: NOT allowed.

❗️ Eligibility:

  • Students in Grade 8 (NZ Year 9) or below (Recommend: Year 7-Year 9)

  • DOB no earlier than 23rd July, 2011

Students below and under 14.5 years of age on the day of the competition are eligible to participate AMC8.

  • Individual

  • Offline proctored paper-based exam

Exam Instructions will be emailed to you 3–7 days before the exam date.
