Welcome to the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) in PGA!
The AMC is an engaging 30-problem competition that demonstrates the importance and relevance of mathematics in students’ everyday lives; it is open to students in NZ Years 4 to 13.
Australia’s leading educators and academics, with a deep understanding of our national curriculum standards, actively design unique AMC problems each year.
The challenge is available for five divisions this year:
Middle Primary (NZ years 4-5)
Upper Primary (NZ years 6-7)
Junior (NZ years 8-9)
Intermediate (NZ years 10-11)
Senior (NZ years 12-13)

What is AMC competition
Fees for entering the AMC is $35 per student.

The contest is held online, you can choose different locations in Auckland.
Location:
1. OFFLINE Northshore (August 6, 4:30pm-5:30pm for middle & upper; 4:30pm-5:45pm for Junior , intermediate, senior) :
Massey University, Albany Campus, Auckland (TBC);
2. OFFLINE East Auckland (August 7, 4:30pm-5:30pm for middle & upper; 4:30pm-5:45pm for Junior , intermediate, senior):
Unit T, 301 Botany Road, Golflands (TBC);
3. OFFLINE Auckland Central (August 8, 4:30pm-5:30pm for middle & upper; 4:30pm-5:45pm for Junior , intermediate, senior) :
Kohia Terrace School, 3 Kohia Terrace, Epsom, Auckland (TBC);
4. ONLINE (August 8th at night): for students outside of Auckland.
